Way it works
If you already own a Smart Thermostat Starter Kit you can add up as many Additional Thermostats are needed for your heating system to be fully controlled. The Internet Bridge can connect multiple Smart Thermostats to the internet and IT IS NOT included in the package.
Where it works
It can be used with the following LOW VOLTAGE system protocols for digital control:
- OpenTherm. Wiring the OpenTherm control wires to your Smart Thermostat's + & - inputs.
If your Smart Thermostat will be paired with Extension Kit , wiring instructions are presented in the product's description.
- Vaillant eBus. Wiring the thermostat control wires of your Vaillant heating system to your Smart Thermostat's + & - inputs.
If your Smart Thermostat will be paired with Extension Kit , wiring instructions are presented in the product's description.
- Viessmann KM-Bus. Wiring the thermostat control wires of your Viessmann heating system to your Smart Thermostat's + & - inputs.
If your Smart Thermostat will be paired with Extension Kit , wiring instructions are presented in the product's description.
- Worcester HT-Bus. Wiring the thermostat control wires of your Worcester heating system to your Smart Thermostat's + & - inputs.
If your Smart Thermostat will be paired with Extension Kit , wiring instructions are presented in the product's description.
It can be used with the following 230V Relay diagram for the following systems:
- combi, system and heat-only boilers;
- conventional and condensing boilers;
- potential - free (dry-contact) systems;
- zoned systems (one Tado Thermostat per zone)
- in floor water based heating systems;
- in floor electrical heating systems with a maximum current of 6A.
